The AJ Mounted Rangers is a 501 (C) 3, non-profit charitable organization and the proud partner of Lost Dutchman Days Rodeo.  We have the lowest administration cost ratios among non-profit agencies.  Year to date, 80 cents on every dollar we earn goes back to the "kids."  No overhead for the Rangers.  We are a volunteer peace-keeping organization that supports youth and youth organizations by providing safety measures at various community events.  While promoting the tradition of the Old West, we assist with emergency food aid, educational, athletic & musical programs, academic assistance, charitable events, participate in parades, memorial services and rodeos while on horseback, quad runners or foot patrol.
AJMRs main goal is, and always has been, to give back to the community to help the children who are our future.  The AJMRs have given over $355,000 back to the community of Apache Junction since 1995.  Among the recipients; The Superstition Mt. Boys and Girls Clubs, Genesis Project, Phoenix Zoo-Walk for Autism, Project HELP, Hope Women's Center, Reach-Out AJ Food Bank, AJUSD Music & Athletic Dept., Special Olympics, People to People Leadership Program, VFW-Tribute & Traveling Wall,  AJ Police Young Explorers, 4-H Country Kickers, Ranch Rodeo for Children's Cancer Center on Dobson, Little League, CAAFA, emergency surgeries for children, AJ Public Library, LDD Royalty, DARE, Head Start, Kids on Kritters & the sponsorship of horseback riding lessons.
